Default Where and How do we create a Guild?

Hi all I'm new and I'm wondering where and how do we make a guild. Sorry if this is a dumb question. Thanks all.

Talk to a Guild Registrar to create a guild and buy your cape. Later in the game (specifically, when you get to Lions Arch), you can buy (or earn by winning the Tombs) a Celestial Sigil which you trade to an NPC landlord type guy to get a Guild Hall.

On that note, do we have to have any number of people or are we required to pick leaders?

who ever creates the guild = guild leader. guild leader can pass it to someone else but it kicks them out as a leader.

one person can create a guild, as of now 100 people is the max size

Is that the only type of leadership you are required to have, a guild leader? And is there a minimum size?

From what I have found out min size is 1, there is a guild chappie in the openign chapter, Just run up all the stairs opposite the enterance to Ascalon and at top top of them all there is a tower to the right side of the tower is the chap you need to speak to. I'm not sure if this will change later, but i's cheap and for 200gp you can have a guild and a cloak.

The guild hall is where you go to start a GvG match.

So they uped the max number from 50 to 100 now, thats cool, means i shouldn't have to worry about setting up another sister/brother guild anytime soon

Yep. they doubled it a while ago.

A guild hall will cost you one Celestial Sigil. You can either obtain this by winning at the Hall of Heroes, or you can just buy it from the vender next to the Guild Registrar in Lions Arch. It will cost you though.

A guild hall is used as a place for your guild to hang out as well as where you fight your battles.

There are 7 of them.. and you can change as many times as you want but it will cost you a Sigil every time.

Warrior's
Magicion's
Hunter's
Dead
Druid's
Lava
Frozen

they all have their perks and strategic advantages.

When you are the "attacking" guild in a guild battle, you start out on a boat (and a make-shift hall sort of area made around it) and you are at the enemies' guild hall. If you are the "defending" guild, you start out inside your guild hall and you get to play on your home terf.
To win a match, you must kill the Guild Lord. Easier said than done, of course. Other than the placement and Guild Hall there is no difference between attacking and defending a hall.
